Shannon Eller, LPC, LMFT

Shannon Eller is an educator, entrepreneur, and philanthropist who can be found splitting her time between her charitable organization, Incorruptible Seed Ministries, serving as CEO and Clinical Director of her counseling center, Brighter Tomorrows Consulting as well as running her education center, Brighter Tomorrows Consulting Institute, in Griffin, Georgia. She supervises, trains, and counsels across four domains: Professional Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, Play Therapy, and Addictions Counseling. Recognized at the state level as an expert in the field of Professional Counselor workshops, Shannon is driven to share her insights and passion for mental health care and healing through the written word.

Shannon holds a T-5 State of Georgia Teaching Certificate and dedicated eighteen years to teaching in the public school system before earning her Master of Science Degree in Community Counseling from Columbus State University, summa cum laude in 2006.

Currently in pursuit of a terminal degree (Ed.D.) in Counseling, Education and Supervision, Shannon is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and is credentialed as a Certified Professional Clinical Supervisor (CPCS) and an AAMFT-Approved Supervisor. Shannon is also a National Certified Counselor (NCC), and holds a state certificate as a Clinical Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CCAADC), CCDP-D (Co-Occurring Disorders Professional Diplomate), Registered Play Therapist Supervisor (RPT-S), and Clinical Supervisor (CCS).
Shannon Eller holds provider numbers from GAMFT, NBCC, APT, GACA, ADACBGA, LPCA, and is a Continuing Education Provider.

April Barnes, LAPC
Child Behavioral Specialist

April Barnes started her career at Brighter Tomorrows Consulting as an intern. She works with both male and female client’s ranging in populations from children to adult whose presenting problems may include substance abuse, anger, anxiety, loss, and depression. April graduated with a M.S. in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. She also received a B.S. in Health Science and Counseling from Shorter University.

April is currently a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC). She is currently working towards becoming a Registered Play Therapist (RPT), as well as working towards becoming both a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), and an International Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (ICAADC).

Courtney Chandler, LAPC, NCC
Adolescent Behavioral Specialist

Courtney Chandler LAPC, started working at BTC in 2014 as an intern. Courtney has an M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University.  Courtney is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor as well as a Certifited In Prime Solutions for Substance Abuse Risk Reduction. She works with all populations with specialty in working with adolescent males. 

As a licensed associate professional counselor, Courtney provides clients with real life tools and aids them in developing effective strategies, to cope with whatever issues they are facing. Past that, she motivates, encourages and supports clients to make choices that improve their day-to-day lives, relationships and overall satisfaction.

Amanda Culverhouse, LAPC
Child Behavioral Specialist

Mandy started her career with Brighter Tomorrows Consulting as an intern and student. She received her M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Columbus State University. Prior to earning her Master’s degree, Mandy taught Special Education in the public-school system. Mandy has 15 years of classroom experience. Mandy works with all populations with specialty in working with children and adolescents. Mandy is a Child Behavioral Specialist and is currently working on becoming a Registered Play Therapist (RBT), as well as working on becoming both a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), and International Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (ICAADC).

Danita Duncan
Clinical Behavioral Specialist

Danita Duncan started her career at Brighter Tomorrows Consulting as a volunteer in the spring of 2017. Danita is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC). She graduated with a B.S. in Psychology with an emphasis in Crisis Counseling and a minor in Christian Counseling and completed a M.A. in Professional Counseling from Liberty University.
Danita has a wealth of experiential knowledge from years of working in the social services field. She works with all ages; from children to older adults, individuals as well as couples and families. She has a passion to help clients explore barriers and identify strengths needed to overcome obstacles in life.   
 She is on track to become a nationally certified counselor (NCC) and is currently working toward becoming an International Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (ICAADC) with plans to obtain a Marriage and Family Therapist license (LMFT).

I am interested in working with adolescents and adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, and other life transitions. I commonly work with women throughout various stages of the lifespan. I love using creative techniques when applicable. I am a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor and graduated from Loyola University New Orleans with a Master of Science in Counseling. I graduated from The University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.

Anni Skurja
Adolescent Behavioral Specialist 


Anni Skurja graduated from Mercer University with a Master’s in marriage and family therapy in 2018. Before that, she majored in psychology at Gordon State College and Fort Valley State University, receiving an Associate and a Bachelor of Psychology. Anni is currently working towards licensure as an LAMFT, and then as LMFT. Anni currently works with all populations, but has developed a specialty working with children and couples. She has worked with many adults and children experiencing anxiety and depression, and couples who have experienced a disconnection, infidelity and/or talk of divorce. She uses a diverse blend of creative techniques, experiential techniques and talk therapy with her clients to make strides towards helping the clients meet their goals. Anni strives to help her clients find their hope again while maintaining a client-centered approach.

Christy W. Martin

Public Relations

Christy started her work at Brighter Tomorrow's Consulting in 2012 as a one woman admin & marketing team. From setting up trainings, tech support, managing Shannon's schedule and organizing & managing revenue Christy set the framework for the admin team of today. 

At the age of eighteen, Christy took on her first role in the mental health field as a receptionist at a mental health facility. From there she went on to own/operate a preschool and very successful Plumbing company that handled multi-million dollar projects such as hospitals, nursing homes and student housing facilities.  

Today Christy is the HR manager, director of marketing & public relations. Christy also manages accounts payable/receivable and is the PR representative for BTC. 

Donna Pope
Front Office Manager

Donna Pope started at Brighter Tomorrows Consulting in 2010 and is the front office manager and the first face of Brighter Tomorrows. Donna earned her Associates degree from Gordon State College and is an authorized notary. Her job includes managing client charts, education charts, google calendar, processing payments, and coordinating client interactions with counselors.

Candace Reagin earned her Bachelors of Science in Psychology and Human Services in 2015 at Clayton State University. She is currently the Executive Administrative Assistant to Shannon Eller, LPC, LMFT and the teaching assistant at Brighter Tomorrows Consulting Institute. Candace provides tech support and guidance for students enrolled in the course, as well as, administrative duties at Brighter Tomorrows Consulting including publications, website support, and front office assistance.

Ms. Rachael Hopkins joins the BTC team with 15 years’ experience working in the criminal justice system. She holds licensure in Georgia as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).  She is certified as a Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor (CPCS). She is a Peace Officer Standards and Training Senior Instructor. Ms. Hopkins participates in several professional boards and organizational activities. She enjoys travel, genealogy, and spending time with her family.

Jackie Martynuska
Administrative Support

Jackie Martynuska started her work with Brighter Tomorrows Consulting in 2015. Jackie's day to day duties include charting/filing and auditing the BTC inventory. Jackie has worked over thirteen years in customer service and is an exceptional member to the Brighter Tomorrows Team.

He oversees daily operations, inventory, security, and maintenance.

Tiffany Wallis

​Tiffany Wallis earned her Bachelors of Science in Psychology, minor in Philosophy, in 2014 at Clayton State University. She also earned an Associate’s of Arts in Nursing from LaGrange College in 1996. Tiffany is the bookkeeper for the practice and is also a certified tax preparer.
